GENERAL QUESTIONS:

Q: Where is ReeceNichols Training?
A: ReeceNichols Training is located at 11601 Granada in Leawood, Kansas. Training is on the first floor with an entrance to the east of the main entrance. This location is also our Corporate Office and Town Center Sales Office. 

Q: I’m coming from out of town. Are there any hotels nearby?

Q: Does ReeceNichols Training offer any online classes?
A: No. If you are needing to take CE classes online, we recommend KCRAR online CE classes in conjuntion with CECheap (a product of Career Education Systems).

Q: I signed up for the Pre-license class but I can no longer attend. Can I get a refund?
A: Yes. Pre-license students may cancel BEFORE the first day of class to receive a full refund by filling out the Request for Refund Form and send via email to Training@ReeceNichols.com. There are no refunds after a course begins and student attends day one.

CONTINUING EDUCATION (CE):

Q: Do the CE classes count for both Kansas and Missouri credit?
A: Yes! All the CE classes through ReeceNichols Training will count for both states. However, they may count for a core in one state and an elective in the other. Check the course description to be sure. 

Q: Which CE classes count for CORE credit?
A: The course "Representation Options in the State of MO" is the required CORE class. The course "Kansas Broker Core" also known as "Required Broker Core—Brokerage Relationships, Misrep" counts as Kansas Broker's 2nd required core. 


Q: What requirement does the CE Class: Behave Yourself: Code of Ethics fulfill?

A: REALTORS® are required to complete the ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 minutes of instructional time every two years. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the National Association of REALTORS®. The current two-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2018. Note: If you take this class through ReeceNichols Training, it will also count for a 3-hour ELECTIVE course for your current renewal period. http://www.kcrar.com/code-of-ethics-training 

Q: When do I renew my Kansas License?
A: Kansas Renewals are based on the first letter of your last name. Visit the Kansas Real Estate Commission to find out where you fall. Education and renewal of license are due by the last day of the month immediately preceding the license expiration date. http://www.kansas.gov/krec/renewals.html

Q: When do I renew my Missouri License?
A: The next renewal is September 30, 2018. For additional information please visit the Missouri Real Estate Commission. http://pr.mo.gov/boards/realestate/Renewal-Information2.pdf

Q: When do I renew my Missouri Broker’s License?
A: The next renewal is June 30, 2018. Visit the Missouri Real Estate Commission for additional information. http://pr.mo.gov/realestate.asp

Q: How many CE hours do I need for a Kansas SALESPERSONS license?
A: All Kansas salespersons with an "SP" license number prefix must complete the 12-hour CE requirement by their first renewal date and at each subsequent two-year renewal. Of the 12 hours, salespersons must complete at least 3 mandatory (core) hours in the course titled "Required Salesperson and Broker Core". An exception to the 12-hour requirement is provided for new salesperson's whose first license expiration date is five months or less from the issue date of their original license. Salespersons in this category have an "SA" for their license number prefix.

Q: How many CE hours do I need for a Kansas BROKERS license?
A: All Kansas brokers must meet a 12-hour CE requirement by their first renewal date and at each subsequent two-year renewal. Of the 12 hours, brokers must complete at least 6 mandatory (core) hours in the two courses titled: "Required Salesperson and Broker Core" and "Required Broker Core". 

Q: How many CE hours do I have for a Kansas SALESPERSONS/BROKERS license?
A: The Kansas Real Estate Commission allows you to check your CEU hours online, anytime. Follow this link to check your hours: https://www.kansas.gov/ssrv-krec-ceu/index.do

Q: How many CE hours do I need for a Missouri SALESPERSONS/BROKERS license?
A: All Missouri salespersons and brokers must meet a 12-hour CE requirement every two-year license period. Of the 12 hours, salespersons and brokers must complete at least 3 mandatory (core) hours. Note: The same course cannot be taken more than once for credit in the same renewal period.

Q: How many CE hours do I have for a Missouri SALESPERSONS/BROKERS license?
A: Hours must be checked by the agent. If you would like to check to see how many CE hours you have completed for this renewal period, please follow the instructions provided below:

  • Click on "MREC Licensee Search" - Search by licensee name or license number.
  • Click on "Detail" and scroll to the bottom to find continuing education information.

NOTE: CE credit hours are only provided on the website for licensees who have authorized the MREC to post their continuing education information online. If your information is not available, you can submit a Continuing Education Consent Form to allow your current continuing education to appear.
